About Adam

Adam Blaier built a legal foundation in media law and policy before moving into corporate practice. He completed a B.A. in Media Law and Policy at Pennsylvania State University, University Park, in 2008. He then earned his J.D. from the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University in 2013.

After law school Blaier entered private practice and the corporate sector in quick succession. He worked as a paralegal and associate at Marc J. Bern & Partners LLP in 2016, where he handled a range of matters that supported litigation and client counseling. In 2017 he took on in-house roles, serving as corporate counsel at Manhattan Telecommunications Corporation and as general counsel at First Tek, Inc. Those positions put him inside the day-to-day legal operations of technology and communications companies and exposed him to contracting, regulatory considerations, and corporate governance.

In 2019 Blaier joined the Law Office of Elliott J. Brown as a lawyer and counselor at law. There he advised clients on business and corporate issues, and he represented parties in transactional and dispute-resolution contexts. His background—combining a media-law undergraduate focus with in-house counsel experience at telecommunications and technology firms—gave him a practical perspective on how companies operate and how legal work supports business objectives.

Blaier became a shareholder at Brown & Blaier, PC in 2023. The move reflected a shift back into private practice leadership. As a shareholder he participates in firm management while continuing to handle client matters. He is admitted to practice in Connecticut, New York and New Jersey, which allows him to represent clients across multiple state jurisdictions.

Colleagues describe him as a lawyer who balances courtroom and in-house experience. He has handled contract negotiations, regulatory matters, corporate governance questions and client counseling. His work has included drafting agreements, advising on compliance issues and representing businesses in transactional matters.

Outside of casework he has drawn on both his academic background and his corporate roles to advise small and mid-size companies on practical legal strategies. He has worked with clients in telecommunications and technology, and with businesses facing routine corporate law issues.

Blaier currently practices at Brown & Blaier, PC, where he handles corporate and commercial matters, telecommunications-related legal issues and general counsel services for businesses.
