About Abigail

Abigail Green earned her J.D. from the University of Louisville in 2006 and began her legal career soon after in Kentucky. She moved from the classroom to courtrooms and conference rooms, testing legal theories and learning the rhythms of practice in state jurisdiction. Her law school training provided the foundation; years on the job taught the practical work of advising clients and handling disputes.

Early in her career she concentrated on mastering case preparation and client counseling. She spent time learning the procedural mechanics that determine how a case unfolds. That experience helped her refine how she evaluates risks and sets expectations for the people and organizations she represents.

Green became part of Kellner Green, PLLC, where she has worked alongside colleagues on a range of matters in Kentucky courts and administrative settings. At the firm she has taken on both contested matters and transactional work. That mix has required balancing advocacy in hearings with careful drafting and negotiation at the table.

Colleagues describe her as methodical in building a file. She tends to break complex problems into manageable parts. That approach shows up in how she prepares witnesses, organizes documents and frames legal arguments. It also shapes how she advises clients about likely outcomes and next steps.

In litigation she has handled motions practice, discovery disputes and trial preparation. In nonlitigation matters she has assisted clients with contracts and regulatory compliance. Her work has involved representing individuals and small to midsize businesses across the state. She aims for clear communication and steady case management so clients understand what is happening and why.

Outside of individual matters, Green follows changes in Kentucky law closely. She adapts strategies when rules or precedents shift. That attention to detail informs how she reviews cases and proposes solutions to clients’ problems.

She continues to practice at Kellner Green, PLLC in Kentucky, representing clients in state court proceedings and related legal matters.
