About Aaron
Aaron Pomeranz took a nontraditional path into law. He began his professional life in public service and later returned to school to earn a law degree. His academic record starts with a B.A. in Business from William & Mary in 1992, followed by an M.A. in Public Administration from Old Dominion University in 1997. Nearly two decades later he earned a J.D. from Regent University School of Law in 2016.
His early career was in municipal policing. In 1997 he served as a captain in the Norfolk Police Department, a role that placed him in supervisory and operational positions during a period of local change. He moved into academia for a time, taking an adjunct professor position at Tidewater Community College in 2011, where he taught courses tied to public service and law-related subjects.
Pomeranz entered private practice after law school. He joined Randall Page, PC as an attorney in 2017. Three years later he moved to Parks Zeigler, PLLC, where he is listed as a lawyer beginning in 2020. He is licensed to practice in Virginia and in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, and his membership in local bar groups reflects ongoing ties to the region. He holds current memberships in the Suffolk Bar Association, the Southampton Bar Association and the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association.
Colleagues describe him as methodical and practical. He applies courtroom experience and municipal government background to cases that require attention to procedure and to fact patterns that often hinge on credibility and record-keeping. His work benefits from familiarity with courtroom settings and from prior roles that required both leadership and training responsibilities.
Pomeranz has balanced work in private practice with contributions to legal education. His time teaching at a community college underlines an interest in practical training and in a hands-on approach to instruction. That experience also informs how he prepares witnesses and presents evidence in contested matters.
He practices at Parks Zeigler, PLLC, where his caseload involves litigation matters in Virginia and in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. He maintains memberships in local and state bar associations and continues to practice law in the Tidewater region. His current practice involves litigation before state and federal tribunals in Virginia.
