About Aaron

Aaron Peacock built a practical bridge between technology and law. He moved from electrical engineering to business and then into law. The progression gave him technical fluency and a business perspective before he earned a law degree in 2007.

He completed a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering at Texas A&M University–Kingsville in 2001. He followed that with an MBA from Baylor University in 2002. He then earned his J.D. from Franklin Pierce Law Center in 2007. Those three degrees map a clear trajectory: technical training, management education, and legal qualification.

Peacock began his legal career in private practice. Early work included time as an associate at Michael A. O’Neil, P.C. He later joined Gagnon, Peacock & Vereeke, P.C., where he has served as an associate. His admissions include the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, the Texas bar, and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas. Those credentials allow him to work in administrative patent proceedings as well as in federal court.

His background in electrical engineering informs the way he approaches intellectual property matters. He uses technical knowledge to review inventions, prepare filings, and assess technical evidence. An MBA adds context for commercial considerations and client counseling. Together, the degrees shape a practice that spans technical and legal questions.

Outside casework he maintains memberships in several professional organizations. He is a member of the Dallas Bar Association, the Federalist Society, the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), and the Christian Legal Society. IEEE connects him to the engineering community. Membership in bar and legal groups keeps him engaged with developments in practice and procedure.

Colleagues describe his path as one grounded in combining disciplines rather than in chasing a single specialty. He has practiced in firms where patent work and related litigation are routine, and his admissions permit participation in both patent prosecution and federal matters. He has worked on matters that require translating technical concepts into legal documents and arguments.

He practices at Gagnon, Peacock & Vereeke, P.C. The firm environment reflects the mixture of technical and legal skills he brings to client matters. His practice centers on intellectual property and patent law.
