About Aaron

Aaron Kemper is an attorney who built his career steadily after law school. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in economics from the University of Kentucky in 2006 and received his J.D. from the University of Cincinnati College of Law in 2011. Those academic years set the stage for a practice that spans Indiana and Kentucky.

He began his legal work as a law clerk for the Superior Court of the Virgin Islands in 2011. That role exposed him to courtroom procedure and the day-to-day demands of judicial decisionmaking. After a stint in the Virgin Islands he moved into private practice. In 2013 he joined Coleman, Roles & Associates as an associate, where he handled matters appropriate to an early-career litigator and developed practical experience in client representation.

In 2019 Kemper launched The Kemper Law Office. He is listed as the founder and lawyer at the firm. Establishing his own office marked a shift from working within established firms to managing his own caseload and office operations. The firm serves clients in the states where he is licensed, and it reflects his move into independent practice.

Kemper’s professional affiliations run from local to statewide organizations. He founded the Old Louisville Lawyers Association in 2016 and remains active in that group. He holds membership in the Kentucky Justice Association and has served on the board of the Louisville Committee on Foreign Relations since 2014. He is also a member of the Louisville Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Section and the Kentucky Bar Association. Earlier in his career he belonged to the American Bar Association between 2011 and 2013.

His undergraduate honors society membership dates to 2006, when he became a member of Phi Beta Kappa. That academic recognition sits alongside the practical experience he gathered in clerkship and firm roles.

Kemper’s career follows a straightforward arc: solid academic preparation, a formative clerkship, experience as an associate, and the establishment of a solo practice. He handles legal matters from his own office and maintains professional ties across Louisville and the broader Kentucky legal community. He now practices through The Kemper Law Office, handling matters in Indiana and Kentucky.
