About Aaron
Aaron Haar took a deliberate path to law. He completed undergraduate studies at Pepperdine University in 2006, earning a B.A. in economics and public relations. He stayed in the West for law school and received his J.D. from UNLV William S. Boyd School of Law in 2013.
He began his legal career immediately after law school. In 2013 he joined Jaburg & Wilk, P.C. as an associate lawyer. That early position placed him in a firm known for handling a range of civil matters, and it served as an introduction to both client work and court practice. Colleagues from that period recall a lawyer who paid close attention to procedural detail and to the practical needs of business clients.
Haar is admitted to practice in several federal and state forums. His jurisdictions include the Ninth Circuit and the Federal Circuit as well as Arizona. Those admissions allow him to handle appeals and federal intellectual property matters alongside state-level business disputes. Memberships provide another window into his professional interests. He holds memberships in the Intellectual Property Section and the Business Law Section of the State Bar of Arizona. He is also a member of the Federal Bar Association.
His background in economics and public relations informs how he approaches legal problems. That combination is useful when evaluating the business impact of litigation and when explaining technical or financial issues to judges and opposing counsel. Over time his work has intersected with intellectual property and commercial law, and he has handled matters that required attention to both substantive law and courtroom procedure.
Peers describe Haar’s work style as methodical. He tends to break complex issues into discrete tasks so they can be addressed one at a time. That approach shows up in filings and in case strategy. He is comfortable moving between state court matters and federal filings, including federal appeals when the case warrants it.
Outside of courtrooms and brief-writing, Haar maintains ties to professional groups that focus on business and intellectual property law. Those memberships keep him connected to developments in federal practice and to resources on technical legal topics.
He is currently in private practice and continues to handle intellectual property and business law matters, appearing in federal courts including the Ninth Circuit and the Federal Circuit as appropriate.
