About Aaron

Aaron Elinoff built his academic foundation at Fort Lewis College, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Political Science in 2009. He continued his studies at the University of San Diego School of Law, receiving his J.D. in 2013. Those years provided a mix of classroom debate and legal writing that shaped his approach to problem solving and argumentation.

After law school, he entered practice in the Pacific Northwest and Rocky Mountain regions. He is licensed to practice in both Colorado and Washington, and has handled matters that require attention to the procedural and substantive differences between those state systems. His early years in practice involved learning how different local rules and courtroom cultures affect case strategy.

Colleagues describe Elinoff as methodical. He tends to break complex problems into discrete tasks. That habit shows up in client work: careful fact-gathering, clear issue framing, and an emphasis on practical next steps. He has experience in courtroom proceedings and negotiated resolutions. He also spends time drafting pleadings and motions that aim to clarify legal disputes rather than obscure them.

Outside of litigation, his background in philosophy and political science informs how he analyzes statutory text and policy questions. He approaches legal questions by combining attention to precedent with clear explanations for nonlawyers. That ability to translate legal concepts into plain terms helps clients understand options and risks.

Elinoff is affiliated with professional organizations and maintains ties to the legal communities in both states where he practices. He has kept active memberships since shortly after completing law school, and he participates in continuing education and local bar activities that keep him current on changes in state law.

He practices at Novo Legal Group, where he works with individuals and entities on matters that arise under Colorado and Washington law. At the firm he contributes to case preparation, client counseling, and courtroom work as needed. He balances litigation tasks with efforts to resolve disputes through negotiation when that serves a client’s interests.

His current practice concentrates on advising and representing clients in matters governed by Colorado and Washington statutes and case law.
