About Zachary
Zachary Kamykowski is an attorney admitted to practice in Texas, the District of Columbia and Massachusetts. He combines legal training in the United States with graduate study in international affairs. His career spans multiple jurisdictions and culminates in a small firm practice he operates under his own name.
He began his academic path at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he studied philosophy and international studies and earned his B.A. in 1999. He went on to Northeastern University School of Law and received his J.D. in 2003. After earning his law degree he pursued an LL.M. at American University Washington College of Law, conferred in 2004. He later completed an M.A. at the University of California, San Diego in Pacific International Affairs, concentrating on economics and China, with that degree recorded in 2008.
Admission to the bar followed his legal studies. He became a member of the Massachusetts State Bar in 2003 and of the District of Columbia Bar in 2006. In 2015 he added the State Bar of Texas to his admissions. That sequence of admissions reflects practice across different legal systems and the mobility required to serve clients who work in more than one jurisdiction.
Over the course of his career he has applied both domestic law and international perspectives learned during graduate study. He has handled matters that require attention to state and federal rules and the procedural differences among the jurisdictions where he is authorized to practice. He has worked with clients who need counsel on cross-jurisdictional problems and has navigated matters that touch on regulatory and transactional issues.
He maintains a solo practice as the principal of the Law Office of Zachary D Kamykowski, PLLC. In that setting he manages client intake, case strategy and the day-to-day operations of a law office. The structure allows him to provide continuity for clients who require representation in Massachusetts, the District of Columbia or Texas.
Colleagues and clients encounter an attorney whose background includes both traditional legal training and a graduate study of international affairs. His education informs how he assesses complex problems that span geographic and legal boundaries. He now practices law through the Law Office of Zachary D Kamykowski, PLLC and represents clients across his admitted jurisdictions.
