About Yemane
Yemane Clarke earned his Juris Doctor from Texas Southern University. He completed his legal training there and moved into practice across two Southern jurisdictions. Clarke’s education at Texas Southern laid the groundwork for a career that spans state lines.
After law school Clarke secured admission to practice in both Texas and Georgia. He has worked on matters in state and federal courts in each jurisdiction. His early years in practice involved courtroom appearances, client counseling and drafting pleadings. Over time he built experience handling a steady mix of contested and noncontested matters.
Clarke’s work has required a balance of litigation skills and practical problem solving. He has taken depositions, argued motions and prepared briefs. He also has handled negotiated resolutions and transactional matters when cases did not proceed to trial. Colleagues describe him as procedural and methodical in the way he approaches case preparation and client communication.
Across cases Clarke has had to navigate differing local rules and court cultures. Practicing in both Texas and Georgia exposed him to varied procedural landscapes. That experience sharpened his ability to adapt filings and strategies to local expectations. It also meant building relationships with local court staff, mediators and opposing counsel in multiple venues.
Clarke’s professional routine often centers on client intake, evidence review and courtroom preparation. He places weight on clear written work product and on preparing witnesses for testimony. When matters move toward settlement he evaluates offers against potential outcomes and the client’s objectives. When cases proceed to trial he focuses on trial logistics and persuasive presentation to judges and juries.
Outside of courtroom work Clarke spends time on legal research and on staying current with precedent and procedural changes in both states. He reads opinions and revises pleadings to reflect shifts in caselaw. That attention to detail informs his written submissions and courtroom arguments.
He practices law in Texas and Georgia and handles matters in state and federal venues. Clarke currently divides his time between the two jurisdictions, advising clients and representing them in court and in negotiated settings.
