About Yalda T.
Yalda T. Bayley built a practice out of steady steps rather than sudden leaps. She studied science at the University of Texas at Dallas, earning a Bachelor of Science. She then enrolled at South Texas College of Law, where she completed her Juris Doctor in 2016. Those years set the groundwork for a career centered on courtroom work and client-facing family law matters.
Her entry into legal work was hands-on. In 2013 she joined The Bayley Law Office as a legal assistant. The role put her in direct contact with case preparation, client intake and the day-to-day logistics of family law practice. After law school she returned to the same office as an attorney in 2017. That continuity gave her a rare view of a practice from both support and lead counsel positions. It also meant she stepped into the lawyer’s role inside a firm she already knew well.
Bayley is licensed to practice in Texas and holds memberships in several local and state bar groups. She is a member of the Houston Bar Association’s Family Law Chapter and belongs to the Family Law Section of the State Bar of Texas. She also participates in the Young Lawyers Association. Those memberships provide regular access to CLE programs and peer forums that often inform how she approaches procedural and evidentiary issues in the family law context.
Her work has centered on family law matters. She handles client interviews, drafts pleadings, negotiates settlements and represents clients in hearings and trials when necessary. Colleagues describe her as methodical in preparing files and straightforward in courtroom presentation. Clients who prefer clear explanations tend to respond well to her style. She balances attention to detail with an understanding of how to prioritize immediate concerns in a case.
Outside the office she maintains ties to the local legal community through bar activity and continuing education. Those connections keep her current on changes in family law practice and local court procedures. She also uses the experience she gained as a legal assistant to train newer staff at the firm and to refine office processes for case management. She currently practices at The Bayley Law Office, where she handles family law matters for clients in Texas.
