About William Royal Gearhart

William Royal Gearhart II grew up studying language and ideas. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in English and Spanish from Wabash College in 2009, then moved on to Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law, where he received his J.D. in 2014. Those years shaped both his approach to legal writing and his ability to communicate with a range of clients.

He began his legal career the same year he finished law school, joining Bowers Harrison, LLP as an associate in 2014. That role put him into day-to-day practice early on and gave him experience in handling client matters under the supervision of more senior attorneys. Two years later he stepped into a new firm environment as an associate at Kahn, Dees, Donovan & Kahn, LLP, where he continued to build practical skills and courtroom experience.

In 2022 Gearhart took on a position at Mobility Immigration. The move marked a visible turn toward immigration work in his resume. At Mobility Immigration he worked on cases and client matters that required detailed knowledge of immigration procedures and an ability to manage document-heavy files. His bilingual background in English and Spanish has been useful in that setting, helping bridge communication gaps for Spanish-speaking clients.

Gearhart is licensed to practice in Indiana. He has maintained memberships in professional associations though specific leadership roles are not listed. Colleagues describe him as a lawyer who approaches tasks methodically. He is the kind of attorney who prepares thoroughly and follows procedural requirements closely. Those habits are evident in the progression of his career, from small firm associate roles to positions that put immigration issues at the center of his work.

He now practices at Probinsky & Cole. At that firm he represents clients in matters that draw on his immigration experience and his background in client communication. He handles filings, interviews, and related legal processes on behalf of individuals navigating administrative systems and court proceedings. His current practice focuses on immigration-related representation and client advocacy in proceedings before state and federal authorities.
