About William R.
William R. Falcone began his legal path at the State University of New York at Buffalo, where he earned a B.S. in Political Science in 1982 and returned for his J.D. in 1986. Those formative years included a summer internship in 1985 with Senator Daniel Patrick Moynihan, an experience that exposed him to legislative work and public policy before he entered private practice.
His early career moved quickly from classroom to courtroom. In 1989 he became a partner at Gleichenhaus, Marchese & Falcone, P.C., a role that marked his entry into substantive trial work and client representation. Eighteen years later he established his own firm. In 2007 he opened the Law Office of William R. Falcone, LLC, taking on the responsibilities of owner and principal attorney.
Falcone is licensed to practice in both New York and Colorado. He has maintained ties to the Erie County legal community; he was a member of the Erie County NY Bar Association from 1990 until 2014. After relocating his practice to Colorado he joined local professional groups. He has been a member of the Continental Divide Bar Association and the Colorado Bar Association since 2007 and of the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association since 2008.
Outside the courtroom he has been active in his community. From 2010 to 2017 he served as president of the Dillon Business Association. That seven-year stint placed him in regular contact with local business owners and municipal leaders and reflected an interest in community-level economic issues.
