About William L.

William L. Gieske took a straightforward path into law. He completed a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management at the University of North Alabama, finishing in 2015. He then earned his Juris Doctor from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University, graduating in 2018. Those years set the foundation for a practice built on courtroom work and client contact.

Early in his career Gieske moved into public service. In 2019 he served as an assistant district lawyer in Lauderdale County. That post placed him inside the county’s prosecutorial office, where he handled the routine demands of case preparation, hearings and courtroom appearances. The year in a government office gave him steady exposure to trial procedure and the day-to-day realities of managing caseloads.

After his time in the district office he transitioned to private practice. He established the Law Office of Will Gieske, working from that firm name to provide legal services across Alabama. The switch from public to private practice allowed him to apply courtroom experience to a broader set of client matters. He has kept a practical approach to casework, emphasizing clear communication and attention to procedural detail.

Gieske’s background combines a business undergraduate degree and a law degree earned within a few years of each other. That combination has shaped how he evaluates disputes and client goals. Colleagues and contacts describe him as someone who prefers straightforward assessments over rhetorical flourishes. His time in the Lauderdale County office trained him to move cases through procedural stages efficiently while attending to evidentiary and scheduling requirements.

Now operating under the Law Office of Will Gieske, he conducts a private practice licensed in Alabama. He handles matters that require courtroom familiarity and an understanding of local practice. Clients can expect a lawyer who has experience on both sides of the courthouse door, and who has chosen to carry that experience into a solo office setting.

Gieske continues to accept matters through his law office and practices law in Alabama, focusing on providing legal representation to clients from his private practice base.
