His practice has included work on criminal defense and DUI cases. He is a longtime member of the National College for DUI Defense, holding membership since 2000. He also belongs to the Illinois Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. Those connections reflect sustained engagement with practitioners who handle similar legal issues.

Locally, he has been active in bar governance. He has served as president of the Henderson County Bar Association since 2011, a role that involves coordination among judges and lawyers and attention to local court administration.
Clients and colleagues describe him as steady and methodical. He relies on his accounting training when cases turn on financial records or forensic accounting. He also draws on decades of courtroom practice when preparing for hearings and trials. Today he practices at Gullberg, Box & Worby LLC, where his work centers on criminal defense and DUI matters.
