About William Andrew
William Andrew Parry is a licensed attorney admitted to practice law in the State of California. He was admitted to the California State Bar in 1999. His license is currently in active status. Mr. Parry is the owner and founder of William Parry Law, a criminal defense firm located in Hanford, California. He has been practicing law for over 26 years, serving clients throughout Central California, including Kings County, Fresno County, Tulare County, Kern County, Madera County, Merced County, San Luis Obispo County, and San Benito County.
Mr. Parry earned his Juris Doctor degree from San Joaquin College of Law in 1998, where he was a member of the Law Review and a two-time winner of the Leon S. Peters Leadership Award. Prior to law school, he completed his undergraduate education at California State University, Fresno, graduating magna cum laude in 1995 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. During his time at Fresno State, he participated in the 'London Semester '94' program.
Mr. Parry concentrates his practice in the areas of criminal defense, including DUI, suspended driver's license issues, and white-collar crimes. He represents individuals in matters involving felony and misdemeanor charges, guiding them through all stages of litigation, including initial case evaluation, discovery, mediation, settlement negotiations, and trial proceedings in both state and federal courts. His firm has successfully litigated hundreds of DUI cases across California, assisting clients in navigating the complexities of the DMV process.
Throughout his career, Mr. Parry has handled cases in various courts, including the Superior Court of California for the County of Kings, the Superior Court of California for the County of Fresno, and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of California. Prior to founding his own firm, he worked as a criminal defense litigator with the Kapetan Brothers Law Firm from 1999 to 2001 and as a litigator with Kahn, Soares & Conway from 2001 to 2013. From 2013 to 2017, he served as the managing shareholder of the Hanford office of the Hammerschmidt Broughton Law Corp.
Mr. Parry is an active member of the Kings County Bar Association and the State Bar of California. He has served on the Board of Directors for the Kings County Fair since 2003, initially being appointed by California Governor Gray Davis and later reappointed by Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger. He is also involved in various community organizations, including the Lemoore Chamber of Commerce, where he has served as Chairman of the Board and on the Board of Directors. Additionally, he has been a member of the Advisory Board of Directors for the Arts & Humanities at California State University, Fresno, and has served on the Board of Directors for the AmeriCymru organization, the Lemoore High School Foundation, and the Kings County United Way.
