William A Peithmann trained as a lawyer in the 1970s and has practiced across multiple states since completing his legal education. He earned a J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law in 1978 after earlier study at the University of Illinois College of Law. Before law school he studied international relations and completed a B.A. in International Relations at Regis University in 1975, having earlier attended DePauw University.
His career stretches back several decades. After law school he entered private practice and built a practice that spans Illinois, California and Colorado. Over the years he has handled a range of client matters and worked in different legal settings. He maintained bar admission in each of the three states where he practices and has navigated the professional obligations that come with multi-jurisdictional work.
Peers and clients have known him for steady, practical counsel rather than flash. He has routinely advised clients on matters that require an understanding of more than one state’s statutes and procedures. That kind of cross-jurisdictional work requires attention to differing court rules, filing practices and licensing requirements. He has met those demands while running a private practice.

He has experience shepherding matters through pretrial stages and advising on procedural strategy. He now practices from The Peithmann Law Office. There he serves clients whose matters involve the laws of Illinois, California and Colorado. He continues to offer direct representation and counsel to individuals and businesses across those states.
