William A. Alexander graduated from the University of Illinois College of Law in 1973 after completing a bachelor’s degree at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1967. Those years established the foundation for a long career in the courts of Illinois. His education placed him among a generation of lawyers who entered practice in the mid-1970s and helped shape local legal practice over ensuing decades.
