About Willard William Clark
Willard William Clark III studied law at the University of Texas at Austin, where he built the foundation for a career in litigation. He graduated into a series of clerkships and internships that exposed him to both trial practice and administrative law. Early experiences included a judicial internship in 2011 for the Honorable Marcia A. Crone in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.
Those early years were busy and varied. In 2012 he served as a law clerk with The U.S. Army Judge Advocate General’s Corps, then moved into a state administrative role as a law clerk at the State Office of Administrative Hearings in 2013. That same year he joined the Law Office of Ronald Rodriguez PC as an associate attorney, where he handled civil matters and began building courtroom experience.
In 2016 Clark became a partner at Alford & Clark Injury Lawyers, a step that reflected a shift toward representing injured individuals in complex claims and litigation. He has been active in trial-focused professional organizations since early in his career. Memberships include the Texas Trial Lawyers Association and the San Antonio Trial Lawyers Association, and he maintains his standing in the State Bar of Texas. He also belongs to the American Association for Justice, the Christian Trial Lawyers Association, and the Order of Barristers.
Federal admissions followed as his practice expanded. He was admitted to the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas in 2017 and to the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit in 2018. Those credentials have supported work on cases that require federal filings and appellate preparation. Colleagues describe him as methodical in case preparation and direct in court, preferring a straightforward presentation of evidence and legal argument.
Today he practices from Alford & Clark PLLC, where he continues to handle personal injury and related civil litigation matters. He balances courtroom work with the day-to-day demands of running a law practice and remains active in local and state trial lawyer groups. His current practice concentrates on representing clients in personal injury and civil litigation matters in Texas and in federal courts where he is admitted.
