About Will G
Will G Phillips has built a long career in Alabama personal injury law. He is a founding partner of Greene & Phillips and has been practicing since the firm opened in 1998. He spends his days representing people who have been hurt and steering those cases through insurance adjusters, negotiation and court proceedings when necessary.
He earned his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa and went on to receive his Juris Doctor from Jones School of Law. Those years in school provided the formal training he needed to practice, but his reputation in the community grew from work at the courthouse and in client meetings.
Phillips helped establish Greene & Phillips in 1998. Over more than two decades he has played a central role in building the firm’s practice and its outreach in Alabama. He maintains ties to the Birmingham office and splits time between client consultations, case preparation and courtroom appearances. Colleagues describe him as practical in the courtroom and straightforward with clients.
His practice concentrates on personal injury matters. He handles claims on behalf of injured individuals and families, pursuing recovery through settlement talks and trial work when cases require it. That work includes evaluating liability, coordinating medical documentation and negotiating with insurers. He is experienced in litigating disputes that cannot be resolved without a judge or jury.
Phillips balances case work with the day-to-day demands of running a law firm. That has included mentoring younger attorneys at Greene & Phillips and helping to shape the firm’s approach to client intake and case management. He has overseen teams that prepare cases for trial and has been involved in complex pretrial strategy and discovery.
Outside the office he remains connected to the legal community in Alabama. He is licensed to practice in the state and has practiced there for the duration of his career. He currently practices personal injury law at Greene & Phillips, representing injured individuals and pursuing civil recovery on their behalf.
