About Will B
Will B Geer built his legal foundation at Mercer University, earning a J.D. in 2006. He went from law student to courtroom observer and then to courtroom participant. The early credential set the course for a career centered on insolvency law and the practical disputes that surround it.
His first notable role after law school was as a law clerk for the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in 2009. That clerkship placed him inside the judicial process governing bankruptcy cases. He watched judges write decisions that shape creditor and debtor rights. He also learned the procedural mechanics that make or break a case.
In 2011 Geer joined Stites & Harbison as a bankruptcy lawyer. There he handled consumer and business filings and worked on contested matters that involved creditors, trustees and professionals. A year later he opened his own practice, operating as the Law Office of Will B. Geer. Running a small firm gave him direct client contact and responsibility for managing cases from intake through resolution.
In 2017 he became a partner at Wiggam & Geer, LLC. The move formalized a longer professional relationship and positioned him within a firm structure while keeping the type of casework he had handled for years. He remains active in the Atlanta legal community and has been a member of the Atlanta Bar Association since 2009. That association work reflects a steady engagement with local practitioners and the procedural developments that affect bankruptcy practice in Georgia.
Geer is licensed to practice in Georgia and has followed a steady arc through clerkship, firm practice and solo practice to partnership. His background gives him experience on both sides of the docket: advising debtors and creditors, and dealing with trustees and the courts. He has worked on consumer bankruptcies, commercial chapter cases and related litigation that arises from insolvency scenarios.
He currently practices at Wiggam & Geer, LLC, where his work centers on bankruptcy, creditors' rights and insolvency-related litigation.
