About Wesley
Wesley Todd began his path in law at Kalamazoo College, where he earned a B.A. in political science in 2006. He moved on to Michigan State University College of Law and received his J.D. in 2010. While still a student he spent time in court and in firm offices; in 2007 he served as a law clerk at Lewis Reed & Allen PC, an early experience that introduced him to courtroom procedure and firm practice.
After law school, Todd launched his own practice under the name Wesley Todd PLLC in 2010. That step gave him hands-on responsibility managing client matters from intake through resolution. In 2014 he joined Vandervoort, Christ & Fisher as a lawyer, practicing alongside more senior attorneys and expanding the scope of matters he handled. His career later led him back to Lewis Reed & Allen, where he returned in a leadership role. In 2020 he became a shareholder at Lewis Reed and Allen, taking on both client work and firm management duties.
Todd is licensed to practice in Michigan and is admitted to the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Michigan, allowing him to represent clients in both state and federal forums. He maintains active memberships in local legal communities, including the Calhoun County Bar Association and the Kalamazoo County Bar Association. Those memberships anchor him in the regional bar and provide regular contact with judges and fellow lawyers in the western Michigan legal market.
Over the years Todd’s work has ranged from courtroom appearances to advising clients behind the scenes. He has experience taking cases through the federal court process and handling matters in Michigan state courts. Colleagues describe him as methodical in trial preparation and deliberate in negotiations. His practice combines litigation responsibilities with counseling clients on procedural and strategic choices that affect case outcomes.
Today Todd serves as a shareholder at Lewis Reed & Allen, P.C. He divides his time between case work, court appearances in state and federal venues, and managing aspects of firm operations. His current practice focuses on representing clients in litigation and related dispute-resolution matters in Michigan and in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Michigan.
