About Wesley
Wesley Legg trained as a lawyer after completing undergraduate work in political science and earning his law degree in Boston. He began college at West Chester University of Pennsylvania before transferring to Pennsylvania State University, where he completed a B.A. in political science. He earned his J.D. from New England Law | Boston in 2011.
His legal career started in small firm settings. In 2012 he worked as an associate at The Law Office of Gregory P. LaMonaca, P.C., then moved to The Law Office of Jane P. Marks in 2013. Those early years gave him steady courtroom and client-side experience. He joined Petrelli Law, P.C. as an associate in 2016 and that same year opened his own practice, The Law Office of Wesley W. Legg, Esquire LLC.
Running his own practice sharpened practical skills. Handling intake, case strategy and client communication fell squarely on him. He handled family law matters and related areas that often require both negotiation and litigation. He also pursued training in mediation, completing a Basic Divorce Mediation Workshop through Mediation Matters.
Beyond the office, he has been active in local bar organizations. He has held membership in the Chester County Bar Association since 2011 and in the Chester County Bar Association’s Access to Justice program over the same period. He served as co-chair of the Chester County Bar Association’s Family Law Section from 2016 through 2020 and was chair-elect of the Young Lawyers Division in 2017–2018. He held membership in the Delaware County Bar Association from 2012 to 2021, and in 2022 he joined both the Hampshire County Bar Association and the Massachusetts Bar Association.
In 2023 he formed a partnership and became a partner at Eckert Ginty & Legg, LLC. That move returned him to a multi-attorney firm environment where cases are staffed and managed collaboratively. The partnership also broadened the firm’s capacity to handle more complex family law and civil matters across multiple jurisdictions.
Legg is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Massachusetts. He balances courtroom work, negotiated settlements and mediated resolutions. He continues to engage with bar association programs and local access-to-justice initiatives. His practice now concentrates on family law and related civil matters, and he handles both litigation and alternative dispute resolution in those areas.
