About Wayne
Wayne Pollock built a practice that moves between courtrooms and consulting rooms. He combines a traditional litigation background with the running of a small firm he founded. The result is a career that reads like a steady progression from large-firm associate to principal counsel.
Pollock earned his law degree from Georgetown University Law Center in 2009 after completing a bachelor’s degree in public relations at Syracuse University in 2002. Those years framed his approach to advocacy. He learned to write clearly and to think about how messages land with different audiences—skills that serve both courtroom argument and client counseling.
He began his legal career as a litigation associate at Dechert LLP in 2010. There he handled civil matters and supported trial teams on complex filings. The experience at a national firm exposed him to federal practice and appellate procedure, and gave him early experience preparing arguments and managing discovery in demanding litigation settings.
In 2016 Pollock left the large-firm environment to launch Copo Strategies, LLC, where he serves as founder and managing lawyer. At Copo Strategies he oversees case strategy, case management and direct client work. He has taken clients into federal court and handled matters in state jurisdictions. Running his own practice meant shifting from a supporting role to directing litigation and making strategic decisions at every stage of a case.
Pollock is admitted in New Jersey and Pennsylvania and practices in federal courts, including the U.S. Court of Federal Claims, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, and the Third Circuit. He has maintained membership in the State Bar of New Jersey since 2009. Those admissions allow him to take on a range of civil matters across state and federal forums.
Colleagues describe him as methodical in preparation and direct in court. He appears regularly on briefs and handles hearings in trial and appellate settings. His background in public relations also informs how he frames legal issues for judges and opposing counsel, aiming for clarity rather than ornament.
Today Pollock runs Copo Strategies, overseeing litigation matters and advising clients on procedural and substantive issues in federal and state courts. He currently focuses on representing clients in federal and state litigation matters.
