About Warren
Warren Brumel trained as a lawyer at Rutgers School of Law–Camden, entering the program in 1977 and receiving his J.D. in 1980. The law school shaped the early years of his career. He came of age professionally at a moment of change in New Jersey’s legal landscape.
After law school he established himself in New Jersey. Over the decades that followed he maintained a steady presence in the state’s legal community. His career spans private practice and courtroom work, and he has navigated the procedural and substantive demands of state litigation.
Colleagues describe him as methodical in court and careful in written work. He builds cases deliberately and favors clarity over flourish. That approach has influenced how he prepares for hearings and negotiates settlements. Clients who have worked with him have noted his attention to deadlines and to the record.
His practice has covered a range of matters under New Jersey law. He has handled contested hearings, motion practice, and client counseling. He is experienced in managing the logistical side of cases — discovery, scheduling, and trial preparation — as well as the substantive legal research that trials and appeals require. He adapts to developments in case law and procedural rules without abandoning the fundamentals of case management.
Outside the courtroom he has kept up with continuing legal education and the practical demands of the profession. He has worked with younger attorneys on case strategy and mentored newer associates when circumstances allowed. He is familiar with courthouse procedures across multiple venues in New Jersey and comfortable addressing judges and staff on routine and complex matters.
In recent years he continued to handle a caseload that reflects long experience in the state. He remains based in New Jersey and accepts matters that draw on his years in practice. He currently practices law in New Jersey.
