About Viviana

Viviana Quijano built a steady path into law that moves from classroom to courtroom to firm leadership. She earned her J.D. from Universidad Santo Tomas School of Law in 2007 and returned to formal study in the United States, completing an LL.M. at the University of Alabama School of Law in 2012. Those degrees bookend an early period of practical training and set the stage for her practice in Alabama.

Her first recorded professional role in the United States was a law clerkship in 2011 at Hollis Wright Clay & Vail, P.C. The clerkship came between her two academic degrees and offered an early look at day-to-day legal work in a private-practice setting. After completing her LL.M., she moved from training roles into practice entrepreneurship.

In 2013 she founded Quijano Law. She has served as the firm's founder since its establishment. Running a small firm has involved handling client intake, overseeing case strategy and managing administrative matters. Those responsibilities anchored her transition from a supporting role in larger practices to leading a team and shaping firm operations.

Quijano is licensed to practice in Alabama. Her academic background, split between Universidad Santo Tomas and the University of Alabama, informs how she approaches legal questions and client work. The combination of a J.D. and an LL.M. also means she has spent time in different legal-education systems, which contributes to a broader perspective on research and analysis.

Over time she has worked to align her practice with the expectations of clients in the state. The record shows steady local involvement rather than a public profile of litigation headlines or academic appointments. Outside of the office, she holds membership in professional associations, reflecting ongoing engagement with the legal community.

Her daily work centers at Quijano Law, where she manages casework and client relationships. She currently concentrates her practice at Quijano Law, providing legal services to clients in Alabama.
