Vishnu N. Subramaniam is a licensed attorney admitted to practice law in the State of California. He was admitted to the California State Bar in 2004 and holds bar number 230224. Mr. Subramaniam earned his Juris Doctor degree from California Western School of Law, where he graduated in 2003. Prior to law school, he completed his undergraduate education at the University of California, San Diego, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1999. During his time at California Western, he was involved in various legal clinics and externships, gaining practical experience in immigration law.
Mr. Subramaniam concentrates his practice in the area of immigration law, representing individuals and families in matters involving asylum, citizenship, deportation defense, family visas, green cards, immigration appeals, investment visas, marriage and fiancé(e) visas, student visas, visitor visas, and work visas. Prior to joining the Law Offices of Brent Collinson, he worked as an associate attorney at a boutique immigration law firm in San Diego for five years.
Mr. Subramaniam is an active member of the Tahoe-Truckee Bar Association, having been a member since 2009. He is also a member of the South Asian Bar Association of Sacramento. He is fluent in English and Tamil, allowing him to serve the diverse communities of Northern California effectively.
