About Vincent C
Vincent C Mancini built a career that moves between public service and private practice. He began on a judicial staff and worked his way through county prosecution before shifting into civil litigation. Over three decades he has handled trial- and appellate-level matters and gained admissions to the Illinois courts, the Seventh Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court.
Mancini earned his J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law, Illinois Institute of Technology in 1997 after completing undergraduate studies at Benedictine University, where he received a B.A. in International Business and Economics in 1989. Those academic foundations led directly to an early position as a research lawyer for the Illinois Appellate Court, Fourth District, where he worked on written opinions and assisted appellate judges in 1997.
A move into public prosecution followed. In 1999 Mancini served as a prosecutor in the DuPage County State's Attorney's Office. He handled a range of criminal matters and gained courtroom experience that would later inform his litigation practice. In 2000 he joined Ekl, Williams & Provenzale, LLC as a senior associate, shifting from criminal to civil work and expanding his involvement in contested matters.
In the private sector Mancini’s roles have varied. He was litigation manager at Fornaro Law beginning in 2017, taking on case management and strategic responsibilities for the firm’s litigation docket. In 2021 he became a partner at Reimer Dobrovolny & LaBardi PC, a position that added firm leadership and client counseling to his docket. Those posts gave him experience in both the operational side of law practice and the demands of courtroom representation.
Throughout his career Mancini has maintained ties to appellate work while practicing at trial. He is admitted to practice in Illinois, before the Seventh Circuit and in the U.S. Supreme Court. His matters have spanned civil litigation and appeals, and he has alternated between staff roles in the public sector and private-firm assignments. He currently practices out of Fornaro Law, where he concentrates on civil litigation and appellate work.
