He then pursued his Juris Doctor at the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law, where he served as an editor for the Journal of Environmental Law and Policy and participated in joint study courses with the Georgetown University Law Center and University College of London. He graduated in 2005.

He has also appeared before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Prior to joining Manly, Stewart & Finaldi, he served as an Infantryman in the U.S. Marine Corps, earning numerous decorations and a meritorious promotion before his honorable discharge in 1997.
Mr. Finaldi is an active member of the State Bar of California and is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Central and Eastern Districts of California. He is also a member of the Orange County Bar Association. In 2021, he was honored with the Consumer Attorney of the Year award by the Consumer Attorneys of California. Additionally, he has been recognized by Super Lawyers from 2016 to 2026 and by Best Lawyers since 2023.
