About Victoria

Victoria Maydanik combined a science undergraduate degree and a law school education before building a private practice in Northern California. She earned a B.S. in Biochemistry and Cell Biology from the University of California, San Diego in 2000. Seven years later she graduated from Santa Clara University School of Law with a J.D. in 2007. The shift from laboratory study to legal training shaped an analytical approach to casework.

After law school, Maydanik entered the California legal community. She went on to establish her own practice, running Maydanik Law Office from Milpitas. As a small-firm owner she manages both the legal work and the business side of the office. That mix of responsibilities has required balancing client work, filings and local court procedures.

Her professional network includes long-standing membership in the Bay Area Bankruptcy Forum, where she has held membership since 2011. That affiliation places her among local practitioners who follow developments in bankruptcy law and regional court practices. The Forum provides a forum—informal and formal—for continuing legal education and peer discussion. Membership signals ongoing engagement with the bankruptcy bar in the Bay Area.

Maydanik’s academic background in the biological sciences gives her a methodical outlook. She applies that way of thinking to case preparation and to reviewing complex financial documents. Legal work often demands attention to procedural detail and timelines. Those skills, developed in different disciplines, inform how she manages matters at the office.

Clients generally find Maydanik handling matters that require both legal and practical problem solving. She prepares filings, represents clients in court where necessary, and guides clients through statutory deadlines and procedural hurdles. Running a solo or small practice means she often handles a file from intake through resolution. That continuity can streamline communication for people who prefer a single point of contact.

Maydanik maintains an office in Milpitas and serves individuals and businesses in California. She remains active in regional professional circles and continues to work from her firm, Maydanik Law Office, handling bankruptcy-related matters and associated legal issues.
