About Victoria

Victoria Herrick earned her J.D. from Abraham Lincoln University School of Law. She completed the academic work that qualifies her to practice law in California and then moved into practice that concentrates on planning for individuals and families. Her legal education informs the technical work she does, and she has built a practice around the practical needs clients bring to an estate planning lawyer.

Early in her career Herrick took on matters commonly found in estate planning practice. She handles drafting wills and trust instruments, prepares powers of attorney and advance health care directives, and advises clients on probate and conservatorship issues. Her day-to-day work involves translating legal concepts into clear options so clients can make decisions about their assets, their care and their families.

Outside the office she has maintained a steady presence in her community. Since 2012 she has served on the Board of Directors of the Apple Valley Chamber of Commerce. That role places her alongside local business leaders and community organizers. It also gives her direct exposure to the kinds of local concerns — small business succession, family property matters, and community services — that often intersect with estate planning questions.

Colleagues describe Herrick as practical and direct in how she approaches cases. She favors plain language in client conversations and written documents. Meetings often begin with an inventory of what clients own, what they want to protect, and who they want involved in decisions. From there she maps out options that align legal tools with the client’s aims. She does not litigate in every matter; much of the work is preventive and advisory, designed to reduce friction for those left behind.

Herrick is licensed to practice in California and continues to work as an estate planning lawyer. She maintains ties to community organizations and balances individual client work with involvement in local business priorities. Her current practice concentrates on estate planning matters for individuals and families in California.
