About Veronica N.
Veronica N. Valladares took a direct route into the law. She earned a Bachelor of Arts from the College of William and Mary in 2009 and completed her J.D. at New York Law School in 2012. Those formative years delivered classroom rigor and the kinds of practical assignments that often shape a lawyer’s approach to client work.
After law school, Valladares established herself in Illinois. She is a member in good standing of the Illinois State Bar and practices under the license there. Her résumé lists her current role as a lawyer at Litico Law Group, where she has built a steady practice advising clients and handling matters that arise under Illinois law.
Her professional life has been tied to firm practice rather than academia or government posts. At Litico Law Group she represents clients in a range of matters appropriate to a firm setting. Her day-to-day work includes counseling clients, drafting documents, negotiating on their behalf and appearing on procedural matters when needed. Colleagues describe her approach as methodical; she breaks problems into parts and addresses each in turn.
Valladares’s membership in the Illinois State Bar places her among the community of lawyers who practice in the state’s courts and administrative forums. She maintains that membership currently and participates in the bar’s network of resources and continuing legal education offerings. That ongoing connection helps her stay current on rules and procedural developments that affect litigation and transactional practice in Illinois.
Clients and peers see her as a practical lawyer who applies legal training to concrete problems. She draws on the academic grounding from William and Mary and New York Law School to analyze documents and prepare for negotiations. Her work tends to be steady and centered on resolving issues within the parameters of state law and the firm’s practice areas.
Outside of casework, she has contributed to the back-and-forth that keeps a small or mid-sized firm running: managing client communications, coordinating filings and overseeing workflows that move matters forward. Her office affiliation remains Litico Law Group in Illinois. She is currently practicing law in Illinois and continues to represent clients through her work at Litico Law Group.
