Veronica Assalone is the founding partner of Assalone Lombardi, LLC, a leading family law firm located at 300 Centerville Road, Suite 305, Warwick, Rhode Island. Since being licensed to practice law in Rhode Island in 1997, she is known for excellence in family law, criminal defense, and personal injury cases. In 2024, the firm rebranded from Assalone & Associates, LLC to Assalone Lombardi, LLC, marking a significant milestone in its evolution. This change followed the promotion of Victoria S. Lombardi to managing partner, reflecting the firm’s commitment to growth and innovation in legal services. Under Veronica's leadership, Assalone Lombardi, LLC has become the largest female-owned and operated family law firm in Rhode Island.
Her strategic vision and dedication to client advocacy have been pivotal in the firm’s success. The firm is well-regarded for its compassionate approach to legal challenges, ensuring that clients receive comprehensive support whether they are navigating mediation or litigation. In addition to her role at the firm, Veronica serves as the Municipal Court Judge for the Town of West Warwick, a position she has held since her appointment in November 2023. Veronica earned her Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School in 1997, laying the foundation for her successful legal career. Prior to that, she obtained a Bachelor of Science in International Business and Logistics from Northeastern University. Her diverse educational background equips her with a unique perspective on legal matters. Additionally, she is proficient in multiple languages, including Spanish, French, German, Italian, and American Sign Language. Active in the legal community, Veronica is a member of the Rhode Island Family Court Inn of Court and the Rhode Island Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
