About Veronica
Veronica Amato earned her J.D. from St. Thomas University School of Law in 2002 after completing a B.S. at Florida International University in 1998. Her time in law school coincided with a period of rapid change in Florida’s legal landscape. Those academic years gave her the foundations of legal research, writing and courtroom procedure that would shape a steady career in the state.
She began practicing in Florida following graduation. Over the years she has maintained membership in the Florida Bar and in the Hispanic National Bar Association. Those affiliations have kept her connected to broader professional networks and to continuing education opportunities across the state.
Amato’s work has taken place inside and outside traditional firm settings. She has handled client matters and provided consultation services, often drawing on practical experience in state law. Colleagues describe her approach as methodical. She tends to break complex problems down into manageable steps and to communicate options clearly to clients.
Her professional activities include participation in bar association events and ongoing legal education. Membership in national and state bar groups has informed her practice and offered forums for discussion on ethics, court procedure and legislative developments affecting Florida law. She has used those forums to stay current on changes that affect how lawyers advise clients in the state.
Clients and peers have noted Amato’s steady presence in the local legal community. She has balanced casework with consultation services, responding to calls for practical legal advice on matters that require familiarity with Florida statutes and court practice. That mix of direct representation and advisory work has been a consistent feature of her professional life.
Outside the office, she has remained active in professional circles that reflect her interests and background. Her membership in the Hispanic National Bar Association speaks to engagement with issues facing Latinx lawyers and the communities they serve. In the Florida Bar she has participated in programs that address the continuing needs of practitioners and clients in the state.
As of 2026, Amato is available for consultation in Florida. She accepts inquiries related to state law and provides legal advice and guidance to clients seeking assistance in the jurisdiction where she has spent her career.
