Valary Anne Miller was a California attorney who was admitted to the State Bar of California in 1995. She held bar number 180893 and maintained an active license until her passing in June 2020. Ms. Miller was based in San Jose, California, where she operated her legal practice, focusing on consumer law, business law, and estate planning. Her office was located at 777 N 1st St, Suite 325, San Jose, CA 95112. She was known for her solution-oriented approach, advising both large and small businesses on various legal matters.
Ms. Miller earned her Juris Doctor degree from Santa Clara University School of Law in 1994. Prior to law school, she completed her undergraduate studies at San Jose State University, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts degree. Ms. Miller was admitted to practice before the California State Bar in 1995. She also held membership in the Northern District Court of California. Her professional affiliations included the California State Bar Trust and Estates and Labor Law Sections. She served as Co-Chair of the California State Bar Consumer Finance Committee in 2007 and was the Secretary of the National Association of Bar Executives – Education Committee. Additionally, she was a past member of the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) and the Association for Continuing Legal Education (ACLEA). She was also a past president of the GHO Association.
Ms. Miller passed away in June 2020 at the age of 66. She was remembered for the love she shared with her family, friends, and her pets, including her 70-pound American Staffordshire Terrier named Max. Her passion for animals extended beyond dogs; she also adopted cats, fed hummingbirds, and supported the Marine Mammal Center. Her contributions to the legal community and her dedication to her clients and causes left a lasting impact.
