About Vadim
Vadim Shifrin founded Shifrin Law Group in 2014 and has served as the firm’s managing partner since its inception. He built the practice from the ground up, overseeing day-to-day operations while maintaining an active caseload. Running a small firm meant long days and a hands-on approach to both client work and business management.
In 2019 he accepted a short-term consulting role with The Graduate School at Northwestern University. That engagement put him inside an academic institution and required adapting legal advice to an educational setting. It was a different pace from firm life and added a layer of institutional experience to his résumé.
Across his practice, Shifrin has combined casework with office leadership. He manages client relationships, coordinates with outside counsel when needed and handles litigation and transactional matters himself. The firm’s size allows him to move between strategy sessions and courtroom preparation without losing sight of client priorities. He is known among colleagues for being direct in meetings and thorough in document review.
Clients who have worked with him describe clear explanations and a practical approach to problem solving. He prefers to break complex issues into manageable parts. That method shows up in litigation files and in contract negotiations alike. He values predictability in legal work and tries to give clients realistic timelines and cost expectations.

He continues to lead Shifrin Law Group and remains the firm’s primary lawyer and decision-maker. He oversees case strategy, client intake and the firm’s operational policies while maintaining an active role on client matters. He currently practices through Shifrin Law Group, providing legal services to private and institutional clients.
