About Tyler
Tyler Kobylski earned a B.A. in Political Science and History from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign before returning to Chicago for legal studies. He completed his J.D. at The John Marshall Law School. After law school he joined the Illinois bar in 2012 and has practiced in the state since then.
He moved into private practice early in his career. In 2013 he worked as a lawyer at Staver Accident Injury Lawyers, P.C., where he began handling client intake, case investigation, and litigation support on behalf of individuals injured in accidents. Two years later he took on a part-time municipal role as Assistant Corporation Counsel for the Village of Skokie in 2015, a position that placed him on the other side of public-service legal work for a time. That mix of private and public work gave him exposure to both courtroom procedure and the demands of municipal legal practice.
Kobylski maintains professional ties across the Chicago legal community. He is a member of the Illinois bar and has been since 2012. He also holds membership in the Chicago Bar Association and participates in the Tort Litigation Committee. Those affiliations keep him connected to developments in litigation practice and to colleagues who handle similar matters across the region.
Colleagues describe Kobylski as attentive to the practical details of a case. He spends much of his time preparing evidence, taking and defending depositions, and advising clients about the litigation process. He has experience in the everyday mechanics of accident and injury claims, from assembling medical records to negotiating settlements. He has handled matters that require both negotiation and courtroom advocacy, and he approaches each matter by laying out the next steps clearly for clients.
Today Kobylski remains with Staver Accident Injury Lawyers, P.C., where he continues to represent people affected by motor vehicle crashes and other personal injury incidents. He works out of the firm’s Illinois offices and balances casework with bar and committee involvement. He is currently practicing law in Illinois, representing clients in accident and personal injury matters.
