About Tyler

Tyler Eaton learned the pace of law offices early. He began his practical legal work as an assistant, case manager and intern at a busy personal injury firm in 2018. That hands-on start shaped the way he approaches cases now. He knows how files move, how medical records are gathered and how deadlines matter.

He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Utah Valley State College in 2018. He continued his studies at Chapman University in 2020 and completed his legal education at The University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law, receiving his J.D. in 2022. Those years combined classroom training with practical internships and day-to-day office work.

After law school he launched Eaton Injury Law in 2022. He set up his own practice to handle the kinds of claims he had seen as a paralegal and intern. The next year he joined Younker Hyde Macfarlane as an associate handling personal injury matters. The move gave him exposure to larger caseloads and different litigation strategies, alongside attorneys with established trial experience.

Eaton’s background includes client intake, case management and direct negotiation of settlement demands. That experience informs how he prepares claims and when he advises clients to pursue litigation. He has worked on cases from the early investigation stage through settlement and, when necessary, to court filings. He pays attention to the practical steps needed to preserve evidence and to document damages.

Colleagues describe him as methodical and detail-oriented in file preparation. He balances that attention to detail with a straightforward approach when dealing with medical providers, insurers and opposing counsel. He has handled the administrative side of casework and the substantive tasks required to develop legal positions.

He is licensed to practice in Utah and has worked in both a solo practice and as part of a firm. He maintains a practice that takes on personal injury matters across the state. His practice handles personal injury matters in Utah.
