About Tyler
Tyler Dorsett built his legal foundation in Oklahoma classrooms. He earned a B.A. from the University of Oklahoma in 2004 and completed his J.D. at the University of Tulsa College of Law in 2007. Those years set the stage for a career that has centered on immigration law and public-facing legal work.
He began practicing law after receiving his degree in 2007. Early on he moved into immigration practice, handling matters that involve both administrative proceedings and litigation when necessary. Over time his work has included representation before government agencies and advocacy in hearings that shape clients’ legal status.
Dorsett maintains membership in professional associations and keeps current with developments in immigration policy and procedure. He follows changes to regulations and case law closely so he can advise clients on shifting requirements. That ongoing engagement with the profession informs how he prepares filings and advocates on behalf of people navigating complex immigration systems.
He is based at Perdomo Dorsett Immigration Law, where he is part of a practice that serves individuals and families as well as businesses. Colleagues describe him as pragmatic in his approach; he tends to favor clear legal options and practical next steps over abstract theory. He balances written advocacy with in-person representation when matters require appearances before adjudicators.
Outside the office he has kept ties to the Oklahoma legal community formed during law school and undergraduate years. That local network intersects with national developments in immigration law, and he draws on both when advising clients. In his practice he handles the procedural work of filings and the strategic decisions that follow.
He currently practices immigration law at Perdomo Dorsett Immigration Law, representing clients in immigration matters.
