About Tyler A.
Tyler A. Griffin’s career follows a clear, practical path from business school to the partner’s office. He arrived at law after studying finance and risk at Mississippi State University, where he completed a B.B.A. in 2012 with a double major in Finance and Insurance & Risk Management. He earned his J.D. from William H. Bowen School of Law in 2015 and moved into practice in Arkansas soon after.
Those early years after law school shaped how he approaches legal work. He joined Ford, Dooley & Griffin and rose through the ranks to partner. In that role he has handled a mix of client counseling, case management, and courtroom work. The partner title reflects a larger role in the firm’s decision-making, billing oversight, and mentoring of junior lawyers.
Griffin maintains active membership in the Arkansas State Bar. He participates in the bar as part of his day-to-day professional obligations and follows developments in state law closely. That engagement helps him keep current on procedural rules and statutory changes that affect client matters in Arkansas courts.
Colleagues describe him as practical and direct in the office and courtroom. He prefers clear legal writing and careful preparation. Those habits show up in how he assigns work, prepares discovery, and frames arguments before judges. He balances litigation tasks with the administrative duties that come with partnership.
Outside of firm duties, Griffin’s background in finance and insurance informs how he evaluates risk and loss in client matters. His undergraduate training gives him a technical baseline when reviewing contracts, insurance policies, and financial statements. That combination of business and legal education often guides early case assessment and settlement discussions.
Today he is a partner at Ford, Dooley, & Griffin, PLLC. He practices in Arkansas, where he represents clients in state matters and provides legal advice grounded in both his business and law training. He currently practices at Ford, Dooley, & Griffin, PLLC, concentrating on matters in Arkansas state courts and advising clients on state law.
