About Ty
Ty Gibson built a practice around one clear idea: represent people who have been hurt and manage the legal side so they can concentrate on recovery. He took a traditional path into law. He completed his undergraduate degree at Austin College in 2009 and earned a J.D. from South Texas College of Law in 2012.
Early in his career, Gibson worked at The Voss Law Office, PC, where he was listed as an associate in 2010. That experience put him into the day-to-day work of a litigation practice. He then struck out on his own and founded Gibson Hill Personal Injury in 2013. He has been the firm’s principal since its founding.
Gibson’s caseload centers on personal injury matters. He represents clients who seek damages after accidents and injuries. He handles case preparation, filing, discovery and negotiations. He appears in court when cases require courtroom advocacy. Colleagues describe his practice as hands-on; he often manages cases from the initial client intake through resolution.
Clients who contact his office typically encounter an attorney who prioritizes practical steps. Gibson emphasizes gathering medical records, documenting damages and developing demand materials aimed at settling claims when possible. He also pursues trials and hearings when settlements do not resolve disputes. The firm’s record of filings and courtroom work reflects that combination of negotiation and litigation.
Gibson’s route from law school to firm founder mirrors the path of many lawyers who prefer direct client contact and firm-level decision making. Starting at a small firm allowed him to learn litigation practice close-up. Launching Gibson Hill Personal Injury gave him control over case selection and firm operations. He grew the practice around a streamlined set of services for injured people rather than a broad array of unrelated specialties.
Outside the office, he has maintained professional connections in the Texas legal community. He is licensed to practice in Texas. He keeps his practice in that state and handles matters that arise under Texas law.
Today Gibson continues to run Gibson Hill Personal Injury. He leads the firm’s lawyers and staff and remains involved in the work of individual cases. His current practice focuses on representing individuals in personal injury claims in Texas.
