About Ty

Ty Frankel built his legal foundation at Boston College. He earned a B.A. there before returning to campus for a J.D. from Boston College Law School. Those years established the classroom and courtroom groundwork for a practice shaped by employment law and litigation.

Early in his career he pursued admissions to multiple bars and federal court. He is admitted to practice in Arizona and Massachusetts and is also admitted to the Ninth Circuit. He has taken part in professional groups tied to employment litigation, including active membership in the National Employment Lawyers Association and the Arizona Employment Lawyers Association.

Frankel's work history centers on disputes that arise in the workplace. He has handled matters that require familiarity with federal appellate procedure as well as state trial practice. He has presented arguments in administrative and judicial settings and prepared pleadings for both state and federal filings. Colleagues describe him as methodical in how he builds a case and exacting in how he prepares testimony and evidence.

His approach to cases is procedural and evidence-driven. He pays attention to deadlines and to the practical steps that lead to trial readiness. He balances written advocacy against oral argument. That balance has informed how he manages discovery, motions practice, and settlement discussions.

Frankel worked in firms before establishing an office of his own. He now practices at Frankel Syverson PLLC. The firm handles litigation and counsel work for clients confronting workplace disputes and related claims. He represents clients in hearings, mediations, and court proceedings, and he drafts the motions, briefs, and agreements those processes require.

Outside formal litigation he contributes to professional conversations about employment law. Membership in state and national employment law associations keeps him current on statutory and case law changes. He attends panels and continuing legal education courses to track shifts in precedent and procedure.

As of 2026 he continues to practice at Frankel Syverson PLLC. His practice concentrates on employment law matters, covering both trial and appellate work, in Arizona, Massachusetts, and the Ninth Circuit.
