About Ty

Ty Czapla earned both his undergraduate and law degrees at the University of Wyoming. He completed a Bachelor of Science before moving on to the University of Wyoming College of Law to earn his J.D. The academic record laid a technical and legal foundation that he carried into practice in another state.

After law school Czapla relocated to Texas to begin his legal career. He built experience handling matters in state and federal forums before establishing his own practice. That step led him to found TLC Law, PLLC, where he serves as the firm’s founding lawyer.

Czapla is admitted to practice in Texas and maintains active membership in the Texas State Bar. He is also authorized to appear in federal court in the Eastern District of Texas. That federal admission expands the venues where he represents clients and allows him to handle cases that proceed beyond state court.

At TLC Law, Czapla oversees case strategy and client counsel. The practice is structured to manage matters that traverse both state and federal procedures. He handles filings, courtroom appearances and negotiations, and works directly with clients to develop practical responses to litigation and procedural challenges.

Colleagues describe Czapla as methodical in preparing cases. He focuses on clear legal writing and careful attention to procedural detail. He has emphasized the importance of understanding local court rules and the timing requirements that often shape the course of litigation. That approach shapes how the firm prepares for hearings and trials.

Outside of court appearances, Czapla spends time on case development and client communication. He places a priority on keeping clients informed about developments and explaining procedural options in plain language. The firm’s operations reflect that emphasis on direct counsel and hands-on management of client matters.

As the founding lawyer of TLC Law, PLLC, Czapla continues to manage the firm’s practice and client relationships. He is active in practicing law in Texas and before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas. He currently concentrates his practice on matters in Texas state courts and the Eastern District of Texas federal courts.
