About Trevor
Trevor Sharon earned his law degree from The University of Texas School of Law in 2013 after completing an undergraduate degree at Oklahoma State University–Tulsa in 2004. He moved from an undergraduate program into law school over a period marked by a steady focus on courtroom practice and litigation studies. The timeline of his education provides a straightforward path from college to the bar exam and the start of a legal career.
He joined Paul Doyle & Associates as a lawyer and has worked there since. His work at the firm involves courtroom appearances, pretrial preparation and filings in both state and federal forums. Colleagues describe him as methodical and practical in how he prepares cases. He handles routine and complex filings, and he appears in hearings across multiple levels of the judiciary.
Sharon is admitted to practice in Texas and in the federal courts covering the state. His federal admissions include the Fifth Circuit and the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern, Western, Northern and Southern Districts of Texas. Those credentials allow him to take cases that move between state and federal systems, and to pursue appeals where circumstances require.
He holds memberships in several professional organizations. Those include the Houston Young Lawyers Association, the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, the American Bar Association, the State Bar of Texas and the Harris County Criminal Lawyers Association. The memberships place him among peers who practice criminal defense and trial work in the Houston and wider Texas communities.
His practice concentrates on criminal defense work and related federal litigation. He represents clients through investigation, charge assessment, pretrial motions and courtroom proceedings. Sharon’s approach is to evaluate procedural options early and to map out litigation steps plainly for clients. He spends time in the courtroom as well as in conferences and discovery sessions, balancing filings with in-person advocacy.
At Paul Doyle & Associates he works on matters that arise in both municipal and federal courts. He handles arraignments, bond hearings, evidentiary hearings and jury trials when cases proceed that far. He currently practices at Paul Doyle & Associates, handling criminal defense matters in state and federal courts.
