About Trevor
Trevor Dickson earned his J.D. from Rutgers School of Law–Newark in 2020. He completed law school as the profession and courts were adjusting to the pandemic. That timing shaped how he entered practice and how he began working with clients and colleagues in a rapidly changing legal environment.
After law school, Dickson took the path into the New Jersey bar. He is admitted to practice in New Jersey and maintains membership in the New Jersey State Bar Association. His association membership keeps him connected to developments in state law and to a community of practitioners across the state.
Dickson’s early years in practice have involved the practical work required of a junior attorney: researching complex legal questions, preparing filings, and supporting courtroom and transactional matters. He has balanced written advocacy with client meetings and negotiations. Those responsibilities have tested his ability to write clearly and to distill legal issues into a form clients can use.
Colleagues describe Dickson as methodical and exacting in his preparation. He places emphasis on clear communication and on setting realistic expectations for clients. In a profession that often involves high pressure and tight deadlines, he has focused on maintaining organized case files and timely correspondence. He is the sort of lawyer who frames options for clients, explains likely outcomes, and identifies the next practical step.
Outside of casework, Dickson engages with the professional community through the New Jersey State Bar Association. That membership provides access to continuing legal education, committee work, and networking functions that are part of practice in the state. He has used those opportunities to stay current on court rules and legislative changes that affect client matters.
As of 2026, Dickson practices law in New Jersey and continues to work with clients on matters arising under state law.
