About Tracy

Tracy Petite earned her Juris Doctor from the Thurgood Marshall School of Law at Texas Southern University in 2012 and followed that degree with a Master of Business Administration from Texas Southern University in 2013. Her academic years spanned a period of concurrent legal and business study, a pairing that shaped how she approaches legal problems. She completed rigorous coursework in both schools and graduated at a time when the legal market was shifting in response to economic and regulatory change.

Her education in law came first, then the supplemental business training. The J.D. provided the foundation in legal analysis, procedure and advocacy. The MBA added business planning, financial analysis and organizational strategy. Together those credentials positioned her to work on matters that require attention to both legal detail and business context.

After law school and graduate study she built a practice in Texas. She is licensed to practice in the state and has practiced before Texas tribunals. Her work has involved advising clients on legal questions that intersect with commercial concerns. Colleagues describe her as methodical in preparing legal positions and practical when weighing business outcomes against legal risks.

Petite’s combined training allows her to evaluate deals, contracts and corporate structures while keeping an eye on compliance and litigation exposure. She treats documents and transactions as both legal artifacts and business instruments. That perspective can be useful for clients who need clear legal answers that also make commercial sense.

Outside of casework, her background in business administration informs how she manages client relationships and office workflows. She understands the operational side of providing legal services, from billing practices to project management. That experience has influenced how she staffs matters and communicates with clients about budget and timing.

Today she continues to serve clients in Texas. Her practice reflects the twin influences of law and business education, and she concentrates her work on matters arising within the state. She remains based in Texas and focuses her practice on serving clients there.
