About Tracy

Tracy Berry built her legal foundation through a steady progression of studies. She earned an A.S. in General Studies from Anne Arundel Community College in 2001, followed by a B.S. from Towson University in 2003, where she majored in history and minored in political science. She later completed a J.D. at the University of Baltimore School of Law in 2013. Those years in school shaped how she approaches facts and argument, and they set the stage for an independent practice.

Her early professional steps included a position as a law clerk at Schifanelli & Associates, LLC in 2011. The clerkship placed her in a small-firm setting and exposed her to the day-to-day demands of client work. Three years later she took another step: she became the managing member of Berry Law Office, PLLC in 2014. She has run the firm since then, overseeing its operations and client matters.

Berry's path to running her own firm followed a pattern common among solo practitioners. She moved from supporting roles into leadership, carrying with her the procedural knowledge gained in earlier years. Her experience includes the administrative responsibilities of managing a practice as well as the direct representation of clients. That combination shapes how she allocates resources and prioritizes cases at Berry Law Office.

She is admitted to practice in North Carolina. That jurisdiction governs the matters she accepts and the filings she makes on behalf of clients. Maintaining an office and a licensed practice in a single state tends to concentrate one’s work on local statutes, court rules and business conditions; her practice reflects that reality.

Colleagues and clients describe her work in pragmatic terms. They point to careful preparation, clear communication and an emphasis on practical outcomes rather than theory. She handles client intake, counsel sessions and courtroom appearances as needed, and she oversees any staff or outside counsel retained by the firm.

Over the years Berry has balanced case work with the everyday demands of running a small practice. She manages client relationships, court deadlines and the business side of her firm. She currently concentrates her practice on serving individuals and small businesses in North Carolina.
