About Tracey

Tracey Taylor built the foundation of her legal life at Dartmouth College, where she completed a B.A. in 1983, and then at Boston College Law School, earning her J.D. in 1989. Those years set a pattern of steady involvement in academic and community circles. She left law school with a straightforward aim: practice law and remain connected to the places that shaped her.

Her early professional years took shape in private firms. Records show her listed as a lawyer with Gargiulo/Rudnick, LLP in 1993. A decade later she is recorded as working with Ardito, Sweeney, Stusse, Robertson & Dupuy, P.C. in 2003. Those positions placed her in established local practices and gave her repeated experience in day-to-day lawyering in Massachusetts.

Taylor has been active in the Massachusetts legal community for many years. She has maintained membership in the Massachusetts State Bar since 1993 and joined the Barnstable County Bar Association in 2003. Those affiliations reflect ongoing participation in the region’s professional networks rather than episodic involvement. They also coincide with leadership and service roles she has taken on outside strictly legal settings.

Outside the courthouse she has held a number of community and organizational posts. Since 2005 she has served the Dartmouth College Club of Cape Cod as President and District Enrollment Director, roles that involve alumni engagement and outreach across Cape Cod. She served on the board of the Barnstable Historical Society from 2008 to 2014. Between 2006 and 2011 she was a director and vice president of the Hyannisport Club. These positions suggest a pattern of civic engagement and local leadership over many years.

Her professional path eventually moved toward a solo practice. She operates under the Law Office of Tracey L. Taylor, where she handles the responsibilities typical of a small firm attorney: advising clients, managing cases, and maintaining client relationships. The office represents a continuation of her long-standing ties to the Cape Cod area and to the Barnstable County legal community.

Today she continues to practice law from her own office. Her current practice at the Law Office of Tracey L. Taylor focuses on serving clients in Barnstable County and the Cape Cod community.
