About Tony

Tony Naro earned his J.D. from Suffolk University Law School in 2008 after completing a B.A. in political science at the University of Massachusetts Boston in 2004. He pursued law after an undergraduate study that emphasized government and public affairs. The academic record set the stage for a practice centered on criminal defense work across New England.

He is admitted to practice in both Massachusetts and New Hampshire. Early in his career he linked up with defense practitioners and professional groups, building a network that includes the New Hampshire Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, where he has held membership since 2008. In 2020 he joined USA500, an association that brings together attorneys in private practice from across the country. Those memberships reflect a steady engagement with peers and continuing legal education.

Naro’s cases tend to involve state criminal matters. He represents people facing a range of charges and handles common stages of criminal proceedings, including initial appearances, plea negotiations, motions practice and courtroom hearings. He prepares for trial when the case requires it and works to identify practical resolutions when possible. His approach favors clear explanation for clients and careful attention to procedural detail.

Colleagues describe him as someone who relies on procedural knowledge and measured advocacy rather than rhetorical flourish. He has worked alongside other defense attorneys in multi-defendant matters and coordinated with investigators when cases required fact development. He has also been involved in professional events and panels through his association memberships, contributing to conversations about practice trends and defense strategies in New Hampshire.

Naro practices out of Bernazanni Law PLLC. He maintains a practice that crosses the Massachusetts–New Hampshire line, appearing in courts in both states and advising clients on jurisdictional questions when they arise. Outside the courtroom, he continues to engage with professional groups that reflect the contours of his work.

He currently represents clients in criminal defense matters across Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
