Tommy W Hull built a career around courtrooms. He has spent years on both sides of the aisle, moving from prosecutor to private practice and managing his own firm.
He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice and Political Science from the University of Texas—San Antonio in 2004. He went on to receive a Juris Doctor from Texas Tech University School of Law in 2007. In 2009 he served as Trial Team Chief Felony Prosecutor at the Midland County District Lawyer's Office. By 2013 he moved into private practice as Managing Lawyer of Tommy W. Hull P.C. He established offices in Midland, Odessa and Abilene. Running a small firm shifted his responsibilities from narrow trial duties to the broader tasks of case intake, client counseling and office management. He continued to handle trials while overseeing the firm’s day-to-day operations.
His practice in Texas draws on years of felony trial experience. He handles criminal matters in state courts and appears for clients in contested hearings and jury trials. Past work as a prosecutor informs how he prepares cases, frames cross-examination and evaluates evidence. He has experience addressing the procedural and tactical issues that arise in serious criminal matters.
