About Todd North
Todd North Parrish is a partner at Miles & Parrish, P.A., where he has practiced law in Florida since becoming a partner in 2012. He works in the area of workers' compensation and represents clients across the state. Colleagues describe him as steady in the courtroom and precise in preparation.
Parrish earned his Bachelor of Arts from Florida Southern College in 2004. He went on to law school at Stetson University College of Law, receiving his Juris Doctor in 2007. Those years shaped his interest in litigation and public-service lawyering.
After law school Parrish built his career in the Florida legal system. He joined Miles & Parrish, P.A. and rose to partnership in 2012. The firm handles a range of workers' compensation matters, and Parrish’s practice developed within that caseload. He has handled disputes that proceed to hearings, administrative matters before judges, and matters that require appellate briefing.
Parrish is Board Certified in Workers' Compensation by The Florida Bar. That certification reflects a qualification process administered by the state bar and indicates he has met specified standards in the subject area. It also aligns with the substantive work he performs for injured workers and employers involved in contested claims.
Outside the courtroom he has been active in professional organizations. Since 2009 he has been a member of Florida Workers' Advocates. He joined the Lakeland Bar Association in 2011 and, beginning in 2019, took a seat on the board of the Polk County Trial Lawyers Association. Those memberships keep him connected to colleagues across the region and to developments in state workers' compensation law.
Parrish practices under the laws of Florida and focuses his work on workers' compensation matters at Miles & Parrish, P.A. He continues to handle claims, hearings, and related litigation in the state’s administrative and judicial forums.
